Solitude/Brighton - Solitude is a cozy,
slopeside alpine village nestled in magnificent Big Cottonwood Canyon
in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest, just 28 miles from Salt Lake
City. Resort accommodations are luxurious and restaurants, shops,
skiing, and other activities are within walking distance. This resort
offers a good mix for skiers from beginner to expert, with 63 trails
and three deep powder bowls. Nearby Brighton has become a top mountain
resort offering over 64 varied runs on two mountains. Most lifts
access all types of terrain, making it great for families. Easily
accessed from Solitude, Snowbird or Salt Lake City.
